Congratulations to the Colorado Avalanche’s Milan Hejduk on 1,000 games in the NHL. The gifted winger’s career, one could argue, has been overshadowed by the careers of teammates like Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, Paul Kariya, and Adam Foote — but he’s no less a star in my mind.
